THINKING GOLD (4) has been in the placings at his last two, most recently when third over 1m2 1/4f at Moe at his third run back from a break. Blinkers added so the stable might have him peaking. CRATER LAKE (5) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in third after doing her best work late at the end of 7½f at Bendigo. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is right in contention. MAKAMAE (7) is a two-start maiden who was unplaced on debut then improved to finish third last time over 1m at Kilmore, beaten 5.5 lengths. Has a strong finish. Has upside and is among the chances again. JUSTA MINUTE (3) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 3 lengths when sixth in a 1m2 1/4f contest at Moe two weeks ago. Steps up a level but he is worth another chance.
