HALO RANDO (5) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1m at Fresno (Dirt). Will be a major player again. SIX HOT GRANDS (1) finished fifth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5½f at this track, beaten only half a length after being in contention on the bend. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. IT AINT OVER (6) finished sixth two runs back at Fresno (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by half a length over 5½f at this track (Dirt) when he worked home in great style. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. EL GALLITO (7) recorded his maiden win five back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when third at this track (Dirt). Should be poised just off the lead. Deserves respect on best figures.
