IT IS WRITTEN (1) sat on the pace last start until tiring to finish fourth, beaten 15 lengths, over 5½f at this circuit. Well placed and will take some running down. VALERIE (2) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of three-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5½f at Santa Rosa (Dirt). Launched last prep with a minor placing at Sacramento over 6f. Hard to beat if back in good order as anticipated. IRIS OF KINGSTOWN (3) ran below expectations last time after being in the firing line on the corner at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt), finishing seventh and beaten 12 lengths starting at 6/1. Has the class to take this out. DANCING NURSE (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 12 lengths into sixth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
