RICKS RED STORM (7) finished sixth two runs back at Santa Anita (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 0.3 lengths as favourite after being in the firing line on the bend over 6f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Beautifully placed and is sure to be there at the finish. GIANOLA (4) is racing with great purpose and has two wins on end, most recently getting the prize by half a length over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Sure to measure up again. HOT JOURNEY (3) did well to score at Ferndale two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when third over 5½f at Fresno, beaten 2 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. TIGER ATTACK (5) kicked off for his new trainer on dirt track for the first time last start when beaten 1.5 lengths into third over 5½f at Fresno. Should be poised just off the lead. Should give backers a sight.
