GREY NORTHERN (2) drew wide and ran poorly last start when beaten 2.25 lengths into sixth at this course and distance. Fared better at the stall draw this time. Better than last start and open to sharp improvement. MISS SANTORINI (1) has put together back-to-back placings after scoring three back at Sale, most recently beaten half a length into third over 7f at this track when she was handy all the way. Ben Allen gets the best out of this five-year-old mare. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. AMARYSSO (7) came from well back on cornering and hit the line strongly to score over 7f at this track last time out. All set to run well. AMANI (6) showed little early speed from an outside draw last time then wound up strongly to score a 1.75 lengths win over 6f at Terang. Can feature in the finish again.
