POINT AND SHOOT (7) wound up strongly last time out to finish half a length adrift in third over 6¼f at Canterbury when returning from a break. Sure to go well again. BLANC DE NOIR (11) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing half a length from the winner in third over 5f at Hawkesbury. Likely improver who should go well. LIGHTLY SPARKLED (13) could only manage fourth when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 4½f at Newcastle, beaten only a long neck after being in contention on the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MAJORCA SUNSET (5) resuming after five months break and was in the money at only start before another lay-off. Will strip fitter for recent trials and should run well again.
