BELLA CORAZON (10) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 6¼f at Canterbury. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Should be in the finish. ARANESE (16) is still a maiden after 11 starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Goulburn two starts back before finishing 13th over 7f at this track last start. Among the leading chances. FELIS CHAUS (6) wasn't far away on debut last start over 5f at Hawkesbury, finishing sixth and beaten 1.5 lengths. Has ability and must be respected. STARDEEL (4) raced once in the maiden campaign when well supported but could only manage fourth at Hawkesbury over 5½f back on June 18. Should be thereabouts.
