TWO CUBED (12) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish 0.8 lengths back in second over 5½f at Hamilton. Likely improver with strong prospects. LEFT ON READ (9) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6f at Wodonga. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. COFFIN DODGER (2) was prominent at the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at Wodonga, beaten 2 lengths. Ready to go one better. WICKED WINONA (7) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Warrnambool, beaten 4 lengths into eighth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
