LULU DARLING (1) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing sixth at Flemington and beaten 3 lengths. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Well placed so expecting a strong run. HEYWOOD (2) was comfortably accounted for when 12th last time out over 7f at Benalla, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent at the corner. That followed a win at Bendigo at the previous outing. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. GREY NORTHERN (12) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race and finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Cranbourne. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she is good enough to play a major role. PLAY ON WORDS (14) showed early speed from an outside draw last time to lead throughout and score by a long neck over 1m at Tatura. Expected to feature.
