Group 3 winner VERONA (3) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m4 1/2f at Morphettville. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is sure to be right there at the finish. Group 1 placegetter SUNSETS (1) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m at Moonee Valley when when resuming from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will find this much easier. Should be in the finish. TYCOON BEC (5) finished ninth when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m1f at Caulfield after racing on the pace for much of the way. One of the main contenders. QUEEN TAKES KING (6) is a distance specialist who turned things around last start and landed the prize by a nose over 1m2f at Ballarat. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
