STORM VOYAGER (12) was sent out at long odds last time but ran above expectations to finish fourth, beaten only 1.2 lengths, over 5½f at Morphettville. Likely to run well again. KAIDO (8) hit the frame two starts ago at Sandown-Hillside but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 4.5 lengths over 5f at Moonee Valley. Has the class to return to form. SECRET WAR (2) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on December 16 finishing seventh and beaten 4 lengths over 6f at Gawler. Has a solid when resuming record of two wins and two placings from eight runs. One to consider. THE MAGISTRATE (3) finished third last start over 5¼f at Morphettville, beaten a head. Should be peaking. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
