BROOKLYN BOSS (6) failed to run a strong 1m1f last start after a close second over 1m at this track the run prior. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so looks a leading contender. JUPITUS (4) resumed three-and-a-half weeks ago over 6½f at Sandown-Lakeside and was only beaten 1.75 lengths into fifth. Has been in the money at each second up start. Fitter so expect a better run this time. REGAL ZEUS (5) was safely held when tenth last time out over 7f at Caulfield, beaten 6 lengths, after a win at Geelong at the previous outing. In contention this time.
