BERRY BUBBLY (5) well in the market lately and has gone close without winning, including a last start fifth at this track. Has a high cruising speed. Sure to be in the finish. FOXICON (1) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in sixth when resuming last time out in the LR W. J. (bill) adams stakes at caulfield over 5f. Form over this journey is strong, boasting four wins from seven starts. Will find this much easier. Leading contender. SHIRSHOV (3) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fifth over 5½f at Caulfield after he was in contention on the corner. Has a strong record at the third run in and is capable of sharp improvement. PHILOSOPHER (2) produced a reasonable effort when second last start over 5f at this track. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Finds a suitable race and can figure prominently.
