GALILAEUS (2) was a real eye-catcher last start, coming from the tail over 1m4f at Caulfield to finish half a length from the winner in second. Comes here in the right frame of mind so another big run is on the cards. MR BLACKWOOD (3) finished out of the money two starts back then he settled well back and was beaten 4 lengths when seventh in a 1m4 1/2f contest at this track a week ago. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. FLAMBEUR (4) was unwanted in betting last start but performed beyond expectations when beaten 1.4 lengths into third over 1m3f at Bendigo. Expected to be in the finish again. BORDER LEICESTER (1) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins before a last-start third over 1m4 1/2f at this track.
