PIPISTRELLE (13) last appeared when she did not complete the course on May 9 at Newcastle. Now under the care of new trainer Ricky Vale. Rates highly and should take some beating. NOBLE HEART (5) wound up strongly in the run home last start to register an impressive win over 6f at Rockhampton. Has been in sound form this prep with a win and a placing from four starts. Should be hard to stop. HANGIN' AROUND (2) scored last start at this track to make it three wins from six starts this campaign. Should be prominent from the outset. One of the main contenders. SHIPS AHOY (7) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 8 lengths away in fifth over 6f at Townsville. Nicely placed to find some form.
