BLAZING REBEL (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 5 lengths when sixth over 1m3f at Pakenham Synthetic five weeks ago. Ideally placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. ALCHIAN (2) has switched yards since finishing fourth seven-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m2 1/2f at Ballarat Synthetic. Likely to play a major role. CADAZIO (6) travelled in a rearwards position then made some inroads and finished 6 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7f27yards at Seymour when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. Won't find this as tough. One to consider. DISMOUNT (7) was below his best last time, finishing seventh and beaten 4.5 lengths over 1m at Bendigo. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
