CAPPER THIRTYNINE (7) finished fourth last start over 6½f at Bendigo after racing on the pace for much of the way. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish. Group 3 placegetter TACITO (4) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when fifth, beaten 6 lengths, over 6½f at Cranbourne. Finds a more suitable contest and can get the job done. SIRIUS STATEMENT (10) is coming off a determined win last start over 6f at Pakenham three weeks ago. Nice weight drop so she shapes as one to consider. JOLTIN' JOE (1) was beaten 1.4 lengths into fifth over 6f at this track at his latest appearance. No surprise to see him in the frame.
