That continued the good form this campaign, with three wins and two minor placings from six runs. Top chance again. AZTEC STATE (2) settled well back at this course and distance last time but did find the line nicely to finish fifth, beaten 2 lengths. One to watch for in the dying stages. HYDROGEN POWER (12) was in the money two starts back at Sandown-Hillside but couldn't back it up last time when 11th, beaten 8 lengths, at this track over 1m2f. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. Group 3 placegetter ZAMBEZI KHAN (4) had been rock-solid with two placings in a row before finishing fourth over 1m2f at this track last start.
