Group 3 winner THE MAP (12) is putting together some solid results. Finished second in the G2 Adelaide Cup at Morphettville two starts back then scored by 3.5 lengths as public elect last time out over 1m4 1/2f in the G3 Port Adelaide Cup at Morphettville. Meeting a deeper field this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. LITTLE MIX (13) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1m3 3/4f in the LR Warrnambool Cup. A repeat of the latest effort will see her in the finish again. LIONEL (9) worked home well to grab third at his latest appearance at Mornington over 1m2f. Stiff rise in class but should be competitive. Group 3 winner CAPTAIN ENVIOUS (1) lines up on the back of a 6 length seventh over 1m4f at Mornington. Solid top-three hope.
