WHO DARES (16) did well to score by 0.8 lengths when resuming in a weaker race last start over 6f in the Vobis Gold Sprint at Caulfield. Fitter for that last hitout and is among the winning hopes again. Group 2 placegetter WALTZ ON BY (13) settled well back before making steady ground in the straight last start to finish seventh, beaten 4 lengths, over this journey in the G1 Robert Sangster Stakes at Morphettville.
