IKNOWASTAR (5) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1m in the LR Wayne Wilson Mile at this track. Well-placed and will take catching. WATEGOS (6) was sent out favourite last time when third over 6¾f in the LR Eye Liner Stakes at Ipswich after he was handy all the way. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Among the winning hopes. COTTEE (14) missed the placings last time out over this distance in the LR Wayne Wilson Mile at this track, beaten 1.75 lengths. Form here strong boasting two wins from four starts. Should be competitive. CHARTERHOUSE (4) Group 3 placegetter. Was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths into fifth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
