DEFERENTIAL (5) wound up strongly last time out to finish a long neck adrift in second over 6f at this track. Can go on with it. LUMENS LENNY (6) started at 8/1 last time on the back of a win at Gold Coast Poly two starts ago but was below his best, finishing seventh over 5½f at Doomben. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he can find the winners' list. QUADE (7) is a locally trained gelding who turned in a good effort when narrowly defeated last time at Ipswich over 6f. Genuine contender. MACHINE HEAD (11) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten half a length, over 6f at Ipswich. Can figure in the finish.
