CORFE CASTLE (7) is a distance specialist who improved sharply on his sixth two starts back at Gold Coast with success over 7f at Sunshine Coast two weeks ago, getting home by a long neck after being in contention on the bend. Going up a level this time but he can win again. VIMINELE (4) made considerable ground in the run home to finish second last start over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Jake Bayliss sticks. Leading contender. HELLAVADANCER (12) turned things around last start and scored by 1.5 lengths after being prominent at the bend as public elect over 7f at Eagle Farm. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. TEXAS (10) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 7f at Eagle Farm, beaten 6 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
