FUKUBANA (2) resumed last start over 5½f at this track and showed little early speed, settling well back but hitting the line hard to finish third, beaten 1.4 lengths. Will be a major player again. MISHANI GANGSTER (1) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when eighth over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot return to winning ways. MORE THAN A STAR (3) was well supported when resuming last time out over 5f at Ballina and proved too strong, scoring by a long neck. Open to plenty of improvement and is among the better chances.
