ARTFUL GIRL (10) started at 7/4 last time on the back of a win at this track two starts ago but was below her best, finishing sixth over 1m2 1/2f at Eagle Farm. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. ROGUE BEAR (3) has been thereabouts without winning, the most recent effort a third at Eagle Farm over 1m4f when he was beaten 3 lengths. This looks a nice race for him to return to the winners' stall. KORUTO (2) was a winner over 1m1f at Eagle Farm last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by 1.2 lengths. Jake Molloy who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Capable of running a bold race. SOUTHERN STOCK (9) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m1f at Sunshine Coast, beaten only half a length. Nicely placed to take this out.
