JEROBI (1) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 5 lengths over 4f76yards at Toowoomba. Winning rider Karl Zechner sticks and he is a key runner. BORN FEARLESS (4) resumes from a lay-off of four months after closing off last campaign with three consecutive minor placings. Likely to go forward from a nice draw. Best form puts him right in this. LIGHTNING RAGE (2) returns from a layoff of three-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 5½f at Warwick. Can make his presence felt. KENTUCKY ROSE (10) finished fourth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found one better over 4f at Esk, beaten only a nose. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
