MALTALI (3) finished third when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Sunshine Coast. This looks an ideal assignment. BOSTON CITY (1) produced a good run two starts back to finish third but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at Gympie over 5f32yards after he was in contention on the bend. Going up a level this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. PATTI 'N' FAY (13) scored an overdue maiden win last time out, getting home by 6 lengths over 5f185yards at Gympie. Looks well placed and she is a great chance to go back-to-back. HOKUSAI (10) was beaten 7 lengths into seventh over 5¼f at Toowoomba five-and-a-half weeks ago. No surprise to see her in the frame.
