TORERA (9) is a seven-start maiden who is knocking on the door, the latest effort a solid second at Beaudesert over 6f after being prominent at the turn. Big chance to shed the maiden tag. ARCTIC BEAR (5) will find this a little easier than his second on debut two-and-a-half weeks ago, beaten 1.3 lengths at the end of 5f at Toowoomba. Drawn well close to the inside so he should be in the finish again. IDHANA (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Rodney Hay yard and gelded since last run. Resumes after finishing fifth at Sale at his last run six months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks nicely placed. Leading player expected to feature. DREAM STEP (18) stepped out for his debut over 6f at Ipswich back on July 5 and finished seventh, beaten 7 lengths. Open to improvement and can feature.
