PURVEYOR (5) stalked the pace when resuming at this track and trip last start then worked to the line steadily to finish second. Expected to be hard to stop. FRIDAY AT FIVE (6) really dug deep to salute by 1.5 lengths three runs back at Ballarat before filling a minor placing at her last two starts. Should camp just off the leaders. Will prove tough to beat. BEAUTIFUL JEWEL (12) broke her maiden last start over 7½f at Bendigo, scoring by 2 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped. SACRED EAGLE (2) improved sharply last time out to score by a neck over 1m at Bendigo two weeks ago. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
