ROCK THE BAR (5) got well back over 6¾f at Donald last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 10 lengths away in tenth. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to turn things around. INEXORABLE (7) hasn't won recently but looks close to a breakthrough based on his last start second at this track over 7½f when beaten half a length. Overdue and looks a top chance. TURN IT UP TOMMY (10) produced a fair effort when resuming from a lay-off last start, beaten 2.5 lengths into sixth over 7f131yards at Geelong. Has a formidable record at this journey with two wins and two placings from six starts and is one of the prime contenders. CAPRICORN STAR (9) travelled on-pace last time out over 6½f at Geelong and dug deep when pressured but found one better. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and a placing from three starts. Best form too good to ignore.
