CHAKADO (2) booted up from the inside draw to race on the speed only to be claimed late and finish 3.5 lengths away in fifth last start over 7½f at Cranbourne. Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. INEXORABLE (1) is on a quick turnaround after a solid second over 1m at this track six days ago. Drawn out but should prove tough to beat. ERSA (3) finished last campaign with a couple of minor placings, the latest over 7½f at Ballarat six-and-a-half months ago. Should be poised just off the lead. Capable of testing this field. HELLO MARY (4) was narrowly beaten into second when second up last start at Kyneton over 7f75yards. Worth including on her latest effort.
