ESSKAY (9) has been in the money at both runs this campaign, finding the line strongly last time to finish third over 7f at Pakenham. Big chance to break through. LIGHTNING FLASH (11) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 3 lengths at Sandown-Lakeside over 7f after being prominent at the corner. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. EURO DANDY (2) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 10 lengths away in tenth over 7½f at Caulfield Heath. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. FOX APPEAL (10) ran a better race last start, finishing 3.5 lengths away in fourth over 1m at Benalla. Well placed to make amends.
