A BOOK OF DAYS (1) was 3 lengths from the winner in fourth over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside last time following a minor placing on debut the run before. Great chance to bounce back. HAWKSURE (2) has not raced since his debut back on June 18 when he finished seventh over 7f at this track. Expected to be very competitive. PLATINUM DESTROYER (4) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 6f43yards at Geelong when he made late ground. Finds a tougher race but a win is not out of the question. STEEL IMPACT (10) will find this a little easier than her last run five-and-a-half weeks ago when sixth over 6f at Caulfield Heath. Meets easier opposition this time. Sure to be thereabouts.
