Brighton vs Burnley tips and predictions: Back Seagulls to rack up corners in convincing win

Brighton have leaked goals for fun this season but Planet Sport is backing them to shutout visitors Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
Brighton went the long way round to get the better of Brentford midweek, with goals from Pascal Gross and Jack Hinshelwood overturning a 1-0 deficit at the AMEX.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side were in desperate need of three points after a run of one win in eight saw them plummet to eighth in the Premier League table.
Meanwhile, Burnley’s 5-0 win against Sheffield United was nothing more than a short-lived reprieve from the torment of football at the highest level.
The Clarets have lost eight of nine and have incurred a -11 goal difference despite that emphatic win at Turf Moor.
Still, they’re just two points away from safety and Brighton have been in festive spirit since the season began. The Seagulls have conceded in 15 league outings.
Sheffield United, Fulham and Luton are among the eight teams to have found the net at the AMEX this term, but the visitors will need to improve on their woeful road record.
Vincent Kompany’s side have lost five of six and have averaged 0.70 goals per game to this point. To make matters worse, the enigmatic Luca Koleosho is now in the treatment room.
Brighton’s defensive record is a departure from the form that saw them keep nine clean sheets at home last term, but the trade-off is more goals. They’ve scored 32 times.
Despite appearances, we fancy that the Seagulls will keep a clean sheet eventually, and this looks like a prime opportunity. Away from home, Burnley have the second-worst expected goals tally in English football.
One other stat of note is few teams are conceding more corners than Kompany's side. They give away 7.5 per game on their travels and they're sure to come under sustained pressure.
Team news
Pervis Estupinan, Tariq Lamptey, Ansu Fati, Julio Enciso, Danny Welbeck, Adam Webster and Solly March are ruled out due to injury.
Mahmoud Dahoud will return from suspension, as will Lewis Dunk to partner Jan Paul van Hecke in defence.
Lyle Foster is still absent due to personal issues while Luca Koleosho will join Josh Cullen and Jack Cork on the sidelines at the AMEX.
Jordan Beyer served a one-match suspension against Wolves but will return on Saturday.
