MLS betting tips: Back Over 2.5 goals double in New England and Vancouver

We’re expecting plenty of goalmouth action when New England host Atlanta United and Vancouver meet Austin in MLS.

Two of the form teams in MLS meet this weekend and we're expecting goals when Real Salt Lake plays host to Orlando City.

New England vs Atlanta United - Over 2.5 goals

Vancouver Whitecaps vs Austin - Over 2.5 goals

New England vs Atlanta United preview

You'd expect New England to hold the edge of Atlanta United when the two teams meet this week, however, the Revs are significantly weakened at the back.
They've been down some key players since the Gold Cup began and they weren't keeping a lot of clean sheets prior to the tournament.
Bruce Arena's men have conceded 18 goals in their last 10 matches and at least once in their last six home matches, four of which they've still won.
Atlanta's 11 away matches have featured 36 goals so far this season. They've conceded six, four, three and three on their travels while scoring in nine contests.
The absence of Giorgos Giakoumakis is a slight concern but Thiago Almada is the chief creator and Tyler Wolff is an able deputy.

Vancouver Whitecaps vs Austin preview

Vancouver Whitecaps home games have guaranteed goals this season. BC Place has hosted 14 goals in all competitions and there has been a total of 46 goals scored.
Eight of those matches have featured three or more goals with a further three finishing 1-1, but we don't anticipate that here.
Both of these teams are more than happy to participate in an open and attacking game so if something lights the touch paper early, four or five goals wouldn't be a surprise.
Austin have rediscovered their mojo and having Sebastien Driussi, Emiliano Rigoni, Diego Fagundez, Maxi Urruti and Gyasi Zardes all available makes them as big a goal threat as any team in MLS.

The team from Texas were one of the best away teams in MLS last season and their 4-1 win in Minnesota suggests a return to form. Since the start of last season, their away games have averaged three goals.
