Brest vs Paris Saint-Germain
Unless you've been hiding under a rock all summer it won't have gone unnoticed that a certain L Messi will be plying his trade at PSG for the foreseeable future.
And one of the more unusual reactions to Messi's signing came from Brest boss Michel Der Zakarian, with an x-rated comment about how excited he was, that we're choosing not to repeat but would suggest you check out elsewhere!
His enthusiasm may fade fast if Messi makes his debut when PSG visit Brest, but with or without the Argentinian it looks set to be a long night for the hosts as PSG have won their first two Ligue 1 matches - scoring six goals with five different players finding the net.
Brest are unbeaten after two 1-1 draws but it's not the kind of record that inspires any confidence they can pull off the shock, with odds of 17/2 on the home win.
With the visitors conceding in every game and the hosts scoring in every match this season, we're going for the away win and both teams to score at 11/8.
RB Leipzig vs VfB Stuttgart
Stuttgart have never beaten Leipzig in five attempts since 2017. They have lost their last four by a combined score of 1-8, and despite some high-profile departures in pre-season, the hosts have been able to splash the cash themselves to the tune of almost 80 million Euros. It should only be a matter of time before they kick into gear.
We like the look of a Leipzig win and over 2.5 goals at 20/21, but we're also happy to be on the side of caution and plump for a Leipzig victory on its own, at 4/9.
Real Betis vs Cadiz
In their first home match of the season, we're expecting more from Manuel's men, and with the home win priced up at 4/7, that'll do for us.
Standard Liege vs KV Oostende
We have an unlikely grudge match on our hands in the Belgian top flight. Liege are looking for revenge against a side that beat them 6-2 and 3-1 in the Europa Conference League mini-group qualifier at the end of last season.
Liege are 20/21 favourites after a solid start to the season where they have won two, drawn one and lost one of their opening four games. However, the visitors are in even better nick having won their last three and scored eight goals in the process.
And with fond memories of last season's clashes with Liege, Oostende are certainly to be respected here and we're looking to take advantage by backing both sides to score, at 8/15.
FC Midtjylland vs Silkeborg IF
As for the hosts, after three 0-0 draws to start the season which must have had their fans nodding off en masse. They have rallied of late with a win and another draw, to make it one of the least impressive unbeaten starts in history!
Another draw is priced up at a tasty 10/3, but with Midtjylland fresh and firing, it's the home win that will find a home in our acca, available at 4/9.
Raith Rovers vs Dunfermline
Rovers have lost just one of their six games in all competitions this season and are unbeaten at home, as they get set to welcome a Pars side still reeling from a 5-0 League Cup defeat at Rangers.
Raith are 11/10 to continue their good form and should provide a nice boost as the final leg of our acca.
