Transfer Zone: Raphinha to Chelsea moves closer as Barcelona resort to counting their loose change

The latest transfer developments on social media, including an update on what we’ll ironically call the race for Raphinha and an early World Cup pointer from defender Joe Gomez.

The Raphinha transfer saga drags on while Barcelona look down the back of the sofa. And all the while Chelsea wait knowing the Leeds forward doesn't want to join them.

Still nothing agreed today between Barcelona and Leeds for Raphinha. Barca have tried to match Chelsea’s offer but it’s add-on heavy and instalment based. Big few days ahead with Leeds losing patience and Chelsea pushing for an answer from Raphinha.

West Ham had been interested in Lewis-Potter but the chance of more first-team minutes seems to have swayed him into joining Brentford.

It's a huge statement indeed from Nottingham Forest. It says they are targeting the Championship title in 2023/24.

#nffc set to sign Neco Williams and Omar Richards, with both deals now agreed. Williams fee nearer to £17m in total and his signing from #lfc is regarded as a huge statement by Forest. Richards will join from Bayern for around €10m.
