Stuttgart forward Serhou Guirassy's record-breaking stint hits a roadblock!

In a recent Bundesliga clash against Union Berlin, Serhou Guirassy, the 27-year-old forward for Stuttgart, encountered an unfortunate setback.

Guirassy, who had just etched his name into the Bundesliga history books with a remarkable 14 goals in eight matches on Saturday, suffered a minor hamstring injury on his left leg. The injury occurred shortly after he netted a goal in the Union Berlin match, where he showcased his incredible form.

Stuttgart's manager, Sebastian Hoenes, expressed his disappointment at Guirassy's injury, acknowledging its impact on both the player and the team. He stated, "Serhou's absence is a bitter pill to swallow, both for him personally and for our team.

"Everyone witnessed the outstanding form Serhou was in recently. We must strive to compensate for his absence as effectively as possible."

Guirassy, a French international player who also represents Guinea, had been on a goal-scoring spree that left fans and pundits in awe. His rapid ascent to the summit of Bundesliga's scoring charts was a feat that had eluded even football luminaries like Robert Lewandowski, Erling Haaland, and Gerd Muller in their prime.

As a result of his hamstring injury, Guirassy is expected to be sidelined for several weeks, temporarily halting his record-breaking journey in the Bundesliga.

Stuttgart supporters will undoubtedly be eagerly awaiting his return to the pitch, hoping that he can resume his prolific form and continue his ascent in the league's history books.
