Social Zone: Erik ten Hag's old-school training methods, plus Erling Haaland changes childhood idols

Erik ten Hag, Manchester United

Pre-season training footage has revealed Erik ten Hag's way of disciplining Manchester United's stars, plus Erling Haaland has changed who his childhood idol was after his Man City move.

Manchester United fans were given their first real glimpse at an Erik ten Hag training session this week, and it seems the Dutchman is making players do push-ups in front of the crowd for every goal conceded.

It's good to give the players an early feel of how embarrasing it'll be before their usual 5-0 loss to Liverpool this season.

Footage also emerged of Tottenham's training under the cruel taskmaster that is Antonio Conte.

The Italian pulled no punches, with every player collapsing to the floor after a gruelling session.

At his unveiling at Manchester City this week, Erling Haaland insisted his childhood idol growing up was Sergio Aguero... but just two years ago the Norwegian gave a completely different answer to the same question.

Horrific scenes coming from the Boca Juniors stadium, as it seems the ground beneath the fans is quite literally falling apart.
Apparently it's not enough to stop fans bouncing and chanting however.
It's coming home!?
England's Lionesses put eight past Norway on Monday, booking their place in the quarter-finals and also breaking the tournament record for most goals scored in one game.
