Social Zone: Arsenal fan rips into Chelsea's loan system while Patrick Vieira has 'no sympathy'

Patrick Vieira

Conor Gallagher delights Palace and parent club Chelsea, Wilfred Zaha makes Arsenal regret not signing him and Patrick Vieira is getting better and better.

One Arsenal fan was not happy at Conor Gallagher being able to play against the Gunners last night.
The Englishman produced a sensational performance as Palace went on to defeat top four hopefuls Arsenal 3-0. Gallagher is on loan from Chelsea and apparently, this 'rule of the loan signings' is not on.

While he may have a point about Chelsea abusing the loan system, one tends to think he may have sour grapes over the possibility of Arsenal bottling a Champions League place and surrendering it to rivals Tottenham.

Of course, one of the talking points from the Palace-Arsenal game was that Patrick Vieira had come back to haunt his old club.

The Palace boss is an Arsenal legend having won three Premier League titles, including the 'Invincible' season in 2003/04.
Former team-mate Lee Dixon had a tale to tell on the Frenchman and admitted he wasn't sure if he would succeed in England.

It may have been a miserable evening but at least one fan had some fun. Maybe he's one for the future.

In August 2019, Arsenal chose to sign Nicolas Pepe for £72million after deciding Wilfred Zaha was overpriced for a similar fee.
In 90 minutes, Zaha scored one goal, made four successful dribbles, one key pass, had 11 out of 18 ground duels, was fouled four times and made three tackles.
We're not saying the Ivory Coast international is trying to prove a point to the north London club but...

Vieria was asked if he had any regrets about thumping his former side but in his reply, he said he had 'no sympathy' for Arteta and co.

The Eagles are up to ninth in the league and they have beat some big teams this season, including Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham.
The club are just one win away from an FA Cup final too. It's safe to say Vieira is becoming a fan favourite since replacing Roy Hodgson and his record speaks volumes.
