Rumoured Leeds United target Milan van Ewijk joins Championship rival

Coventry City have signed promising right-back Milan van Ewijk who was previously rumoured to be a target of Leeds United.

Coventry City have confirmed the capture of Milan van Ewijk, a marauding Dutch right back who was reportedly a target for Leeds United.

The 22-year-old made 36 appearances in the Duch Eredivisie last season, scoring six goals and registering one assist.

Despite his age, he's racked up over 120 appearances for Dutch top-flight clubs since joining ADO Den Hag in the 2019/20 season.

Fankaty Dabo, Todd Kane and Julien Dacosta were all on the Sky Blues at the start of last season but have all been released.

"He is an exciting player who fits in with the way we play at Coventry City.

"He has great pace and also quality going forward, as well defensive ability too.
