Nottingham Forest midfielder Jonjo Shelvey moves to Turkey on loan
Nottingham Forest midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has joined Turkish Super Lig club Caykur Rizespor on a season-long loan.
Shelvey signed for Forest amid a trolley-dash approach to the January transfer window but played just eight times and none after April 8.
He was left out of the squad at the back end of last season after throwing a tantrum when told he would not feature against Liverpool at Anfield.
Boss Steve Cooper insisted there was no rift, but he did not feature again and has now been allowed to leave the club.
The 31-year-old heads to Turkey, where the transfer window shuts on Friday, to join up with fifth-placed Rizespor.
