England vs Latvia: World Cup qualifier prediction, tips and bet builder as Three Lions look to entertain

The Thomas Tuchel era got off to a winning start and the Three Lions will be looking to continue the positive vibes when England host Latvia this Monday night (1945 GMT).
A solid 2-0 win over Albania marked the beginning of a new era for England under their third foreign manager.
The Three Lions are far from the finished product and the expansive football promised by the German is yet to materialise. However, the early signs are positive.
Seeing Tuchel get visibly frustrated at Phil Foden’s back pass just three minutes into the match was genuinely a heartwarming sight.
While Gareth Southgate enjoyed impressive tournament runs, the former manager was tolerant of boring, sluggish football which made for horrific viewing.
Tuchel appears to have the appropriate managerial tools for the high-quality material he has to work with. Excitement is only going to build as England continue their journey in the World Cup qualifiers.
The next test for the Three Lions comes in the shape of Latvia in what will be their first official international encounter.
Here, we take a closer look at Monday’s encounter and pick out some of the best bets along the way.
England v Latvia bet builder
England -2 handicap
The two changes which Tuchel is expected to make concern wide areas. Marcus Rashford and Phil Foden underdelivered against Albania and many were expecting Anthony Gordon and Jarod Bowen to take their place.
However, Gordon is now injured and that will give Tuchel something to ponder.
With a bit more oomph in the wide areas, England could cause Latvia a lot more problems than they caused Albania.
More goalscoring opportunities should result in more goals against a very poor Latvian side.
No disrespect to the Baltic minnows, but their 1-0 win over Andorra on Friday suggests they will massively struggle against the might of England at Wembley.
The Three Lions are on a four-match winning run, scoring 13 goals and conceding one in the process.
With that in mind, we’re backing Tuchel’s side to deliver in the -2 handicap market.
Harry Kane to score anytime
Since Harry Kane made his first appearance in the World Cup qualifiers, only Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski have scored more goals in European qualifiers.
Kane is clearly in good company, and he extended his goal tally with a strike against Albania on Friday night.
If Tuchel decides to start with Kane against Latvia, we expect the Bayern Munich frontman to give the home fans plenty to cheer.
England to score in both halves
This bet has landed in three of England’s previous four matches – including Friday’s win over Albania.
With a high number of goals expected against Latvia, we’re backing England to strike in both halves.
