Manchester United's Paul Pogba describes 'worst nightmare' after house break-in during match
While Manchester United were in action against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night, Paul Pogba's house was targetted by burglars.
In the closing minutes of Manchester United's 1-0 Champions League loss to Atletico Madrid, Paul Pogba's house was broken into, while his children were sleeping in their bedroom.
Pogba came on as a second half substitute during the match, and returned to the dressing room after the final whistle to find out his house had been burgled.
The crime occurred on Pogba's 29th birthday, leaving the France midfielder with a situation he described as his "worst nightmare".

He took to Twitter on Wednesday to reveal the news and offer a reward for anyone with information.
"Last night our family's worst nightmare was realized when our home was broken into and burglarized while our babies were sleeping in their bedroom.
"The burglars were in our home for less than five minutes but in that time they took from us something more valuable than anything we had in our home… our sense of safety and security.
"This occurred during the final minutes of last night's match when they knew that we would not be home.
"My wife and I rushed home not knowing if our children were safe and unharmed.
"As a father there is no feeling worse in this world than not being there to protect your children and I sincerely hope that no one ever has to feel what I felt last night.
"It is for this reason that I would like to offer a reward for anyone who has a clue to help us. Please send any info to [email protected]."
Pogba's Manchester United teammate Victor Lindelof was also the victim of a break-in in January, with the Sweden captain describing it as a "very traumatic" experience.
In a similar fashion, Lindelof's house was targeted while the centre-back was playing a match vs Brentford. His wife locked herself and their two children in a room to avoid the invaders.
Manchester City full-back Joao Cancelo was another victim of a burglary in December, and the Portugal international was assaulted during the invasion.
He was with his family when the burglary took place, and shared a photo on social media showing he had sustained a cut above his right eye.
