Leeds United transfer news: Latest update on Charlie Cresswell bid
Reports have emerged linking Charlie Cresswell with a move to Rangers this summer, but no official bid has arrived.
Rangers are interested in signing Leeds United and England U21 defender Charlie Cresswell this summer, according to reports.
One outlet sparked the rumours earlier this month when claiming Leeds had rejected an opening bid from Rangers.
Those stories seem to be wide of the mark, as confirmed by YEP journalist Graham Smyth: "The club insists they have received no bids for centre-back Charlie Cresswell."
It remains to be seen if there's anything more to the story but for now, the club are insisting there is no official bid.
Cresswell, 20, was a key player for old foe Millwall last season, making 28 appearances and scoring four goals.
It's almost certain that the new regime at Elland Road will want to keep hold of the England U21 and reward him with a regular starting berth this season.
