Jurgen Klopp says Dominik Szoboszlai's ankle injury is not serious after missing pre-season friendly
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has played down an injury to new signing Dominik Szoboszlai after he missed their second pre-season friendly.
New Liverpool signing Dominik Szoboszlai's ankle injury is not as serious, according to manager Jurgen Klopp.
The £60million midfielder, signed from RB Leipzig last month, did not play in the 4-4 draw with German second-tier side Greuther Furth due to an ankle problem sustained at their training camp in Germany.
Liverpool now head to Singapore for games against Leicester and Bayern Munich and Klopp expects the Hungary captain to feature in the Far East.
"He rolled his ankle slightly in training, really nothing. Everybody is super-positive about it, himself first," Klopp told the club's website.
"If we would have today a Premier League game or whatever, he could play. So, we don't take a risk and we will see what we will do with the Leicester game after travel (and) stuff like this.
"But for the Bayern game he will be ready, definitely."
