July 25 Transfer Zone: Juventus provide transfer update on Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo looks dejected as Juventus lose 3-0 to AC Milan

Ronaldo's contract at Juve expires in 2022 but there has been no talk of a new deal...

Cristiano Ronaldo

CR7 is expected to remain a Juventus player ahead of the 2021/22 season.
The 36-year-old, who won the Golden Boot at Euro 2020, has been linked with a move away this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain are the front-runners to get the soccer legend and are prepared to do a swap deal involving Mauro Icardi.

Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved gave an update on Ronaldo's future as well as Paulo Dybala and Giorgio Chiellini.
"Ronaldo has been called up for July 26, he 'll be back on Monday and will stay with us," Nedved said.
"[Dybala's] agent is expected in Turin in the next few days, everything will be resolved. Relations were not cold, we are on time.
"[Chiellini] is on vacation. Let's give him time to recover and then we'll talk calmly about his renewal."

Raphael Varane

Raphael Varane does not want to return to pre-season with Real Madrid, according to reports.

The defender is Manchester United's priority this summer in the transfer window after completing the signing of Jadon Sancho.

The Frenchman is in the last 12 months of his deal at Madrid and Spanish outlet AS says Man United can get Varane for £34.2million.
Varane, who has been unable to reach an agreement over a new deal at Los Blancos, feels 'uncomfortable' about going back to training.
At 28, Varane has won four Champions League medals, three La Liga titles and the World Cup.

End of the road for Toby

The Telegraph are reporting that Toby Alderweireld is heading to the Qatari league ahead of a move to Al-Duhail in a deal worth £13million.
Kristoff Terreur has claimed the Belgian, 32, is already on the plane to Qatar.

Done deal

Marco Silva has got his man.
Harry Wilson has left Liverpool to sign for Fulham in a £12million deal which will see him at the London outfit until 2026.
The Welshman had been on the books at Liverpool for 16 years but made just two senior appearances in three years.
However, Wilson does have Premier League experience having played 31 games for Bournemouth in 2019/20.

Patrik Schick

Patrik Schick, at Bayer Leverkusen, was one of the standout players at Euro 2020 and scored a stunning goal against Scotland in the group stages.
The Czech Republic international, who joined the Bundesliga from Roma last year, has bagged 13 goals in 36 games for Leverkusen.
He is not short of admirers following the summer and it appears England could be his next destination.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool and Dean Smith's Aston Villa are the bookmakers' favourites to sign the forward.
