Joshua Kimmich believes Bayern Munich will claim the Bundesliga title
Bayern Munich secured three crucial points in their recent 2-0 Bundesliga victory over Hertha Berlin, leaving the last-placed Berlin club struggling for survival.
Bayern Munich secured a 2-0 victory against Hertha Berlin during their recent Bundesliga match, further cementing their position at the top of the league standings.
Despite a somewhat lacklustre performance against the last-placed team, the Bayern managed to secure the three points they needed to stay ahead of their closest competitors.
Star midfielder Joshua Kimmich played a key role in the win, providing assists for both of the team's goals. Speaking to Sport1's Kerry Hau after the match, Kimmich expressed confidence in Bayern's ability to become German champions: "I'm firmly convinced that we'll be German champions."
In an interview with Kicker's Georg Holzner, Kimmich reflected on the match, stating that the team had managed to maintain their composure and avoid any costly mistakes. "I think it wasn't bad today. We didn't concede a counter-attack and didn't allow any stupid set pieces. In the past few weeks, we would've lost our heads - today we didn't," he said.
With four matches left in the season, Bayern currently sit at the top of the Bundesliga standings with 62 points, one point ahead of Borussia Dortmund.
Despite the competition, Kimmich's confidence and the team's strong performance suggest that they are well-positioned to claim the title.
