SOCCER: Meanwhile, on the field, new Inter Miami head coach Phil Neville is promising to deliver an exciting brand of soccer to fans of the MLS club. Though he has yet to embrace calling the game soccer.
"I am not a coach that likes to sit back. I said when I started my journey as a coach, I wanted to be as brave as possible. I wanted to try to win every single game of football. I am going to stay true to those values at Inter Miami. I think the supporters will enjoy the band and style of football I want to play." (Orlando Sentinel)
FOOTBALL: Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill has played down his two-handed shove on wide receivers coach Greg Lewis during Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns.
"If I would've really pushed my coach, everybody would've been holding me back. So it was just one of those fired-up [moments]; we laughing; we giggling; and we just enjoying each other. That's all it was." (Kansas City Star)
