Jadon Sancho has once again become a pivotal figure at Borussia Dortmund, this time not just on the pitch, but also in the locker room as the team's designated DJ.

The decision to reinstate him in this role came as a result of his teammates' recognition of his influence during his initial spell at BVB.

According to a Sport BILD report, the 24-year-old's comeback has not only invigorated the team spirit but also yielded tangible results on the field. Dortmund's performance in the league has seen a significant uptick with Sancho's involvement, averaging 2.36 points per game, compared to a drop to 1.75 in his absence this season.

However, looming over this resurgence is the spectre of Manchester United, his former club, with whom he is currently on loan until the end of the Bundesliga season.

Despite the temporary nature of his stay, Dortmund are keen on securing Sancho's services long-term. Positive feedback from his management suggests that he feels at home and is open to extending his stay beyond the current loan agreement. This marks a stark contrast to his time at Manchester United, where he struggled to find joy in the game.

Financial considerations, however, pose a challenge for Dortmund. The club's limited budget means they can only afford a transfer fee comparable to their previous record signing. Negotiations with Man United have proven difficult, with the English club rejecting Dortmund's attempts to include a purchase option in the loan agreement.

Sancho's personal preferences play a crucial role in these negotiations. His desire to return to Dortmund could see him compromise on salary demands, giving the German club more leverage in talks with Man United. However, the possibility of another loan deal remains on the table, although both clubs are eager for a permanent solution.

Dortmund's hope of securing Sancho's services could also hinge on their ability to offload players to free up funds. Donyell Malen is seen as a potential candidate for sale, although Dortmund have yet to receive any concrete offers for the Dutch forward.

In the midst of these negotiations and uncertainties, one thing remains clear: Jadon Sancho's return has breathed new life into Borussia Dortmund, both on and off the pitch.
